Miami, Florida, August 25, 2026 — As part of its strategy to expand its global footprint,
eSource Capital announced a collaboration with Thunderbird School of Global
Management at Arizona State University through AlsoThere and the Global Challenge
Lab program to strengthen the planning of its next phase of international growth.
“The companies that expand faster and with less friction will be the ones leading the
next stage of the global economy. At AlsoThere, we believe international expansion
should no longer be a privilege reserved for large corporations, but an opportunity
accessible to businesses of every size with the ambition to grow. Collaborating with
Thunderbird allows us to enrich that vision with new perspectives and continue evolving
the way we help organizations operate across borders,” said Enrique Camacho, CEO of
eSource Capital Group and General Manager of AlsoThere.
As part of the initiative, a multidisciplinary team will conduct a specialized study to
evaluate market opportunities and entry conditions across some of Africa’s fastest-
growing digital economies. The analysis will provide strategic insights to support future
growth decisions and strengthen eSource Capital’s international expansion strategy.
The research will examine regulatory environments, tax frameworks, operating costs,
and currency risks in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and Egypt—four economies that
represent some of the continent’s leading technology hubs and strategic gateways for
international business.
The study will also identify factors that could facilitate the exchange of professional
services and technology solutions among Africa, Latin America, the United States, and
Europe.
“Our goal is to transform international expansion from a business challenge into a
competitive advantage. Every new market presents significant opportunities, but also
operational, regulatory, and tax complexities. This collaboration will strengthen our
ability to help more companies and entrepreneurs grow internationally with greater
speed, simplicity, and confidence,” added César Camacho, Global Director of
Operations at AlsoThere.
The Global Challenge Lab methodology connects graduate students with organizations
facing real-world international business challenges. Through applied research and
multidisciplinary analysis, the program develops strategic recommendations that help
organizations better understand emerging markets, identify new opportunities, and
make informed business decisions from a global perspective.
“Collaborating with eSource Capital on the AlsoThere initiative gives our students the
opportunity to tackle real international business challenges while contributing
meaningful strategic insights. Through the Global Challenge Lab, Thunderbird combines
applied learning with global business expertise to help organizations navigate new
markets and prepare the next generation of leaders to thrive in an increasingly
interconnected economy,” said Kate Robertson, Senior Director of Thunderbird Applied
Learning at Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University.
For eSource Capital, this collaboration represents another milestone in its long-term
strategy to expand opportunities for businesses and entrepreneurs to operate
internationally with greater ease. Through AlsoThere, the company is deepening its
understanding of how global business ecosystems are evolving and anticipating the
conditions shaping the future of international trade and digital services.
As business becomes increasingly digital rather than geographic, eSource Capital
continues to combine technology, business intelligence, and strategic partnerships to
develop solutions that enable companies and entrepreneurs to operate globally with
greater efficiency, lower complexity, and stronger competitive advantages.
